With performances on five continents and all five Disneylands, the Pennsbury High School Marching Band is internationally recognized as one of the premiere high school bands in the United States. The band has the distinction of being the only band to have performed at all five Disneylands in Florida, California, Japan, France and China as well as in Tianamen Square in Beijing China and on the Great Wall of China. In 2008, the band was the featured half-time performers at the International Rugby Tournament, “Hong Kong Sevens,” in Hong Kong, China. Two years later, in 2010, the Long Orange Line traveled to England to perform in London New Year’s Day Parade. In 2012, the band traveled south of the equator for the first time to perform in the “First International Festival of Military and Civilian Bands” in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In March 2016, the band headed south of the equator again, this time to Australia, its fifth continent, to participate in the Royal Easter Parade in Sydney, Australia. And the band has been selected to appear in the 2018 and 2019 Tournament of Roses Parades in Pasadena, California, on New Year’s Day, pending school board approval. “Out of 400 bands they chose 14 so we’re pretty excited about that,” said Mazzeo.

League: ENCORE The Pennsbury Marching Band is based upon the Pennsbury Marching band in which I am a member in. The Long Orange Line
has an extremely rich tradition of excellence since its inception in 1949. The Long Orange Lines has performed on 5 Continents, as wells as being the only Marching Band on the planet to have performed at all 5 Disney parks. Although the tradition of the “Long Orange Line” is great, it is only maintained through the dedication,
commitment, perseverance, and hard work of its latest members. It will be performing in the Tournament of Roses parade (the Rose Bowl) in California this December.
