After a few of decades of earning mostly division 3 and 4 ratings marching corps-style, Mr. Thomas Wadenpfuhl re-established the military marching style in Season 51. The Season 62 Armadillo Band comprises 122 members. They earned a Division 1 Superior Rating at the UIL Region 8 Marching Band Contest.
