I've marched three seasons in high school and served the fourth as a drum major. In addition, I've taught another 6 seasons and arranged marching band shows. I like music and stuff. I also have a website.

League: BoA The Elite Youth Marching Ensemble (EYME) is a non-profit marching organization composed of marchers age 12 to 21 dedicated to nothing less than absolute excellence - on and off the field. In addition, all staff members working for this group began as marchers from different schools, but within the same age range. Any marcher who meets this single requirement in the United States is more than welcome to audition for this constantly-traveling group.
Yours truly, the founder of EYME, saw it necessary to create such a group so that all marching band students who share the same inexhaustible drive, talent, and dedication for making their schools' marching bands the best they can be could unite together as one body. If we find a student who auditions on a primary instrument and is well qualified as a marcher and a person, yet their section is full, we will continue to look for alternative ways to allow that person to be on the field or be a part of such a wonderful experience.
With every practice these students push harder, take themselves further than the practice before. It is truly quite a sight to see these young performers extend their potential in this group. The particularly astonishing aspect about this group is that they won't stop at marching and playing well. With every show they write, learn, and perform, they are constantly looking for ways to tell a unique story through their performance, illustrate a valuable life lesson, and reach deep into the hearts to the audience and create better people through those audience members. What this magical group of kids can do astonishes me to no end.
EYME's motto is "Play Me a Picture, Paint Me a Song". Be sure to come out at the start of their second season and support these young prodigies who have dedicated their lives to making a difference in the world!
