The band is required to not be a bunch of idiots but to be best in class. With best in class you have to have, best in show, best in performance, give 10000%. Don't think you'll get out of any of the things that will happen like competetion. You are required to know how to march like your in the military. That means you have to roll your heal when walking. You have to be fast when walking, have to also walk in step with fellow band members. No lagging behind. Nobody is going to leave you behind unless you force them to. I love band !!!
