For the past 30 years, the Centerville Jazz Band (CJB) has worked hard to be recognized as one of the best bands in the nation. The CJB is a 19-time Bands of America Regional Champion, 19-time Grand National Finalist, and was the 1992 Grand National Champion. The Band was also the 2013 Mid States Band Association Open Class Champion and a 2018 Regional Champion. In 2021, CJB marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, and it regularly performs in the Walt Disney World Thanksgiving parade.
