Sounds
Repertoire
Juliana's 2010 show was supposed to be all about sounds. We were told that we'd be doing a lot of weird stuff with our instruments to produce as many sounds we could possibly get out of them. None of that really happened. I really bought into the theme as described, but was kind of disappointed with the show as it turned out.
Our last performance at the Drum Corps Europe finals had a major balancing issue about a minute or two before the end. This caused me to basically give up on finishing the show as good as possible, so I overplayed, marched sloppy and even missed the timing on putting my feet in a wide stance. You can see all of that in the video (I played snare).
The music was pretty cool though. Our Hornline was pretty excellent. We came in third and won High Brass and High Visual. Also, this was the first season with our awesome new uniforms.
