My first season playing snare with the senior corps. And boy what a season to jump into. I mean the drumline kind of made a shift. Some of the more experienced members started being techs this season (or decided they've had enough), so there was room for less experienced members (like me) to get into the field. Anyway, onto the show itself;

I still think this is one of the best show concepts I've ever been a part of. It's so simple and elegant. Now, the execution is absolutely "amateur-ish Dutch drumcorps", but the idea is pretty neat. In a nutshell, it works like this:
The show is called Textures. In four movements, the corps will explore four textures that you normally feel through touch, but (of course) in the medium of music and the visuals. Here's the textures, see if you can find them in the show!
- Mvt. 1: Spiky
- Mvt. 2: Soft
- Mvt. 3: Lattice
- Mvt. 4: Swirly
