Repertoire
There are those people who consciously live a life of evil and repugnance. After Death, those people reside in a tortuous world beneath our own. The s122 show for the Seawolves Drum and Bugle Corps "The Bad Place" explores the life and afterlife of one such individual.
Movement 1. Wickedness (Highway to Hell by AC/DC, Hellfire from Hunchback of Notre Dame, Sacrificial Dance from The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky)
At First, we see a man living a life of atrocity, doing eveyrthing he can to empower himself at the expense of others, seeing no limits to his greed and repugnance.
Movement 2 Death (Dies Irae by Verdi , Lamentation For a Lost Life by Max Richter) Suddenly our villain dies a sudden death and reflects on his horrid deeds.
Movement 3 Hard Labor (Work Song from Les Miserables, Chant From Hadestown) Our now deceased individual learns about the hardships that awaits him in the land down below.
Movement 4 Begging (Hell is Forever from Hazbin Hotel) After working for a while the man begs for forgiveness, claiming to have learned his lesson, only to find out that his fate was sealed long ago, and he will suffer for eternity thanks to his deeds.
