Repertoire
in S120 The Seawolves will be telling the story of a fallen star, one who shot into world wide fame over night, but just as quickly was gone, a victim of the downsides of fame and what they turned to to try and cope.
In Movement 1: Rise to Stardom (Fame from the movie Fame), we chronicle the overnight success of our star, and how they went from a small-town performer to a worldwide star.
In Movement 2: It Isn't What it Seemed (Paparazzi by Lady Gaga) Our star realizes that fame isn't all it was cracked up to be and struggles to deal with pressure from producers, the media, and overbearing fans.
In Movement 3: Downturn (Miss America by James Blunt) our star starts to turn to drugs and alcohol to help distract from all of the problems, thus putting the beginning of the end into motion.
In Movement 4: The Show Must Go On (The Show Must Go On by Queen) Our star's performances start to tail off and they consider a hiatus/retirement to focus on themselves, only for them to be pressured by outside forces to continue performing, to put on a fake self for the sake of Money, to continue on this self-destructive path, This ends abruptly with our stars unfortunate demise, a victim of not only drugs, but of fame itself.
Movement 5: Remembrance (Candle in the Wind by Elton John) shows the outpouring of grief and sorrow following our stars death, not only among the fans, but with those who seeked to take advantage of them in life continuing to do so in death, but peddling remembrance albums, memorial magazines, and other commercializations of an unfortunate end, acting as if it was an unavoidable tragedy or that they might change their ways with the next one, but we all know they won't.
