I am looking for a Conn 88HO Trombone, used or new at a good price. I play a yamaha bass in Sym. 1 and a Conn 88H in jazz. Both are school owned horns. I am section leader in Sym. 1 but because of the bass, I still sit last.

Check on ebay.. I highly doubt you are going to get much of a "deal" since that horn seems to hold it's price pretty good

You would probably sound good on any professional large bore concert bone. Just depends what you are looking for, range, timbre, open wrap, closed wrap, attachment, type of attachment, also type of sound.. you might want to look for a brass bell, or a rose, or silver.. etc

Go down to a music store with a lot of trombones and try them all out, see what you like the best for your type of playing
