I personally liked Crown's 2009 show better. Last years opening power chord WAS amazing though. It sounded like a freaking pipe organ!

Im not saying they were AWFUL... just expected more from them especially considering the staff they put together. Triple Crown is still my favorite Crown show.

The one corps I keep shaking my head over.. is Spirit... with alllllllllllllllll the resources at their disposal.... and they still manage to screw up. They should have kept David Starnes on staff at the very least to help develop the program and GE.

Agreed about everything. Also Academy, I thought they were going to do a lot better once going Div 1 after dominating Div 2 the way they did.

This year is going to be even more interesting and competitive than the last few years.. especially with SCV getting Rennick, the recent surges with BC and CC, Cadets playing Angels, but since I marched BD, I'm really hoping they get their long awaited 3peat! and BDB looking for 3peat... should be very interesting!

My Phandom may come into question with Rennick gone. His writing and their programming got me hooked on them. I think I'm on The Cadets bandwagon this year, but it doesn't hurt that a member of their pit is in my percussion studio. :P I think I can truthfully say I just want to see a bunch of incredible shows, and I don't care much about placement, as long as someone beats BD. :)

I agee that TripleCrown is still the best Crown show--i was actually only mildly happy with last two years--2010 better than 2009...however, I do think Bluecoats are fastly becoming someone who could challenge the "best corps to never win" category.

And this had officially become DCP... lol. Blue Stars won't move much. Crown is going back to a fun and rocking shoe this year, Phantom... well we will just have to wait and see, SCV... GET IT! BD, shall be good again. Cavies will kick butt and my front runner. Bluecoats, hmm. Boston, skeptical about things. But I can't wait to see the Scouts!

Now back to Class... lol

SCV is due for a big win. They just have not been themselves the last several years.. which is ironic because they really started many of the trends being used today. But I think Jeff Fiedler is going to do alot of good at SCV... last year... they showed signs of a turn around. I am very interested to see what they do with the Devils Staircase.

I don't mind threepete as long as its warranted...sometimes a corps gets dominant and I just dont see it...i often disagree with who wins no matter who it is lol but honestly last BD show was not my favorite ever but it deserved to win and 09 was actually a really good show...so if they top those or no one else can, so be it

oops.. your right... i knew their last win was 99... but i was thinking that was the phantom year.. but i should have known better because the Phantom show was 89 which was my senior year of HS and we did phantom for our show that year. (actually it was 88 that we did it.. but you get the idea)

I am not shocked at all about Unspecified Identity...a bit of a fantasy marching arts powerhouse in other leagues as well...always a competitor in DCPI
