Newcomers planning to start season strong

The Falling Panda Marching Band and Falling Panda Drumline from Panda Falls, TX, are proud to announce the beginning of their first competitive season. The marching band's director, Megan Kerusi, was overheard saying "We're going to run everyone into the ground. I hope." She seems overly confident, and rightly so: The band has been at band camp the past two days (They entered Season 5 too late to compete) and will continue with the same rigorous four-a-day schedule.
Their show is titled 'As They Rode', and features the music of Alfred Reed, Frank Ticheli, Eric Whitacre, Samuel Hazos, Robert Sheldon, and Jack Stamp.
The drumline is in the more-than-capable hands of director Paul Allen, and is hosting the Panda Classic on February 11th. Acceptances will be determined by division and random number generator. More info inside the event page.
Their show is entitled 'Falling Thunder', and features the music of Robert W. Smith, Carl Orff, and Riverdance.
The band is also working closely with the Cuddle Bunny Drum and Bugle Corps. With many members drawn from the Panda Falls band, the corps is struggling to create a conflict-less schedule. In any case, director Joe Hopkins, third cousin twice removed of the infamous George Hopkins, says he plans to "work them [dang] kids into the ground. That's the only way to win."
We can only hope he's kidding.
In other news, the Cuddle Bunny Drum and Bugle Corps is also hosting the Cuddle Bunny Spectacular on February 5th. Acceptances will again be determined by division and random number generator. As with the Panda Classic, more information can be found in the event's page.
The Cuddle Bunny Drum and Bugle Corps' season 6 show is titled 'The Art of Dance', and features the music of Mozart, Vivaldi, Ravel, Bizet, Duke Ellington, and Benny Goodman.
