Today's Finals competition was held at Target. Several isles were cleared out to make room for the stage and the seating area. A lot of shoppers stopped by to watch the drumlines warm up for the big show. Some others who stopped by to watch today's event were Joe Lesko, pedazos, Alex Yoder, George Hopkins, The Cavaliers, The Energizer Bunny, Mr. Clean, George Hopkins, my next door neighbor, the past few American Idol winners, former President John Adams, the composer John Adams, George Hopkins, and an armchair. There were a lot of very strong performances today, and each line got a standing ovation. In fact, the division one champion "Thunder" got a standing ovation after every phrase. When they were done, everyone was throwing their babies at the performers, Those who didn't have babies threw those standing next to them at the performers. Right after the scores were announced, Target employees began moving the isles back into their places and we all went around and shopped the rest of the time.
I'm so proud of SouthBeat's progress this season; it looks like I don't have to whip them anymore.
See you all next season!
Not many of you made predictions, so I'll announce the winner shortly.
