Today had the greatest drumline show in the world, but I want to talk about "SouthBeat Extravaganze: 5" instead. It was hard to rehearse the line and watch shows at the same time for review purposes, so I pulled some random person off the street and had them work with the line today. I was disappointed that there were only five groups today. Originally, there were supposed to be fifty-six groups, but they got lost getting to the venue. I don't know why they got lost; the map I e-mailed all the directors was very clear:

After today's show, everyone partook in a three-hour meditation period to prepare for the upcoming finals competition. Ten minutes into it, I got bored so I started listening to my iPod at full blast (note to self: don't listen to the 1975 Madison Scouts at full volume if you want to keep your eardrums).
