The Midland Valley Recoats, The J. Summerville HSMB, Republic Venue, and The Big Bang Theory have returned to FMA. After a recent house fire of the director, all financial budgeting of the groups went towards buying the director a new computer. The director indicated that the groups wouldn't be around for a quite a couple of seasons, but now they are back. We would like to thank the directors high school band for generous donations to help get a new computer.
You can catch the Midland Valley Redcoats, J. Summerville HSMB, and Rebulic Venue around the FMA circut all in Division 3. Midland Valley Recoats with their show entitiled "War". A young man dreaming of fighting in the army and finally gets his chance, but it's nothing he ever expected. 20 years later, he is army general. This show's selections are: War, Peace, and A General's Honor.
The J. Summerville HSMB's show is entitled Evolution. A show about the experience being in a marching band. The friends, the competitions, the laughter makes band what it is today. (Something like Kennesaw Mountain's 2004 Evolution show, but a little different) The show's movements are: Windsprints, Revolution of Sound, Children's Anthem, New World (Bjork).
Republic Venue's show is entitled "On Guard", music of the Renaissance. The Big Bang Theory is currently still on idle. The could not raise enough money to compete this season with everyone else.
Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy the rest of our and your season.
