Welcome to another round of IIEA competition results! Today we are looking at the Music of the Night Indoor show hosted by Scholastic World class group, Night Area High School. First, let's look at the colorguard end.

Northgate impressed the judges on Saturday with "Northgate on the Move" It truly moved the judges to give them a score within A class range!

Guard of the Valley won Scholastic Novice with a four point lead by taking all captions. The fight for 5th place was tough with only a .27 difference between them. The deciding factor here seemed to be GE, as Quilt HS was higher in both Equipment and Movement than Envision.

Guard of Unspecified Identity seems to making a comeback since their great run in FMA v1. Taking Open class by over 15 points and having the highest score of the night, they are looking very strong this season. Good luck to them and their run for FMA Division 2 Grand Champion!

Congrats to Lunar Anomaly on their 1st place finish here on Saturday. Coming from Division 2, they are playing with the big players in Division I now.

Northgate dominated the captions Saturday as they took first place in Scholastic Novice. All three groups were spread out by about 4 points, so it was a sure thing on who was placed where. Its still not the end of the season yet, so we might see some improvements from these groups. You never know!

Cannelton took the trophy in Scholastic A, having a score less than a point away from Open A Class winner, White Falcon. The Captions were very spread out Saturday as 3 out of the 4 groups won a caption award.

A major upset Saturday as the last group to perform (Performance order was determined by scores only two weeks ago) got last place. Its amazing how things have changed in the last few weeks. White Falcon won with all captions, but it was a close competition compared to the other classes we've seen so far.

We only saw one Open World Class group Saturday as the played their show, Flam Diddle. Its nice they got something, coming from California to Pennsylvania and all.

2nd - Purple Tornado Percussion - 59.495
1st - Knights Drumline - 73.525 (All Captions)

It was a clear-cut victory for Knights Drumline Saturday with their 14.03 lead over Purple Tornado Percussion. Knights' show, Latin lover was an amazing show to see, and gave them the highest score of the night. Congrats!
