This show took place in Fort Wayne, Indiana and attracted 725 souls hungry for some drumming. Actually, it would’ve taken place there; except that it took place on a space station 2,500,000 miles above the earth so that it would tie in more to the host unit’s show “The Wrath of Khan.” It was really neat to watch drumline shows while having the occasional comet zoom by overhead. There was this part where The Drumming Dummers’ snare line did a stick toss, but then the sticks floated away and drifted into the eternity of space. In the middle of The Drumming Imperials’ performance, a fleet of alien starships started attacking the venue. Luckily, everyone came equipped with the latest space-war weaponry (available at most Hallmark gift stores) and we vaporized their fleet within seconds. After the scores were announced, and Knights Drumline claiming yet another victory, all the drumlines visited the amusement park on Eta Persei, a star 1331 light-years from earth. After a long day at the park, all the drumlines traveled through a wormhole that took them straight back to Fort Wayne, Indiana. In conclusion, outer space was a lot of fun, but I hated those asteroids that periodically hit the space station because they kept making me spill my soda.
