This event took place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on November 15th. A total of 8,000 people flocked to see their favorite drumlines banging loudly away on their drums, cymbals, and marimbas. Even though most of them were there to see SouthBeat, they still enjoyed the other groups and didn’t want the day to end. After the scores were announced, there was a spectacular firework show lasting three hours. Some of the fireworks even went into outer space and knocked a satellite out of orbit. After that, there was a football game which ended 566 to 559. Unfortunately, the stadium lights weren’t turned back on after the firework display so no one saw it. Before we knew it, the sun rose and everyone went back home. Now, for the caption awards:

I don't know.. I got a copy of the music sheets and the judge made a comment that "while sounding like the members are trying really hard, overall it just sounds flat. (flatulence)"
