Go out there and be as prepared as possible. Watch videos of recent shows of theirs, read up on the bios of the staff online, find out their technique and do your best to learn it on your own, less they have to do and you'll stand out.

I would disagree about learning their technique. Instaed work on basics and fundamentals. They can teach you technique but they probably won't teach you how to play
