When I go to recent topics and click the [last page] link for East Coast Combine discussion topic it goes to the bottom of page three, but there is a page 4.

EDIT: now that I made another post in the topic it is working now. But it had done it four or five times straight before I made the post.

Probably just miscalculating the number of pages

It seems to be doing it again. There is only one post on page 5 of the topic, and the last page link is going to page 4.
