In the future, i think there needs to be a PM feature in order to communicate with other players.

I think this is mainly because a lot of people are hosting events but are not accepting applications. Just my two cents.

Unless you're that awesome, badgering show hosts to accept you into their lineup will likely get you a decline.

ahh...point taken. Not trying to be a jerk or anything...i just see some contests i've applied for and they haven't accepted anyone. some contests have 20 spots and no one picked.

Perhaps they're waiting to fully see who all applies i guess to have the best possible people.

It could be that they aren't very active on the site either.

Or it could be because they are waiting till show date to accept. That way they get the groups with the highest influence to increase ticket sales. It's a business :D
