Prelims is over and another season begins to wrap up. Here is the break down:

Division 1:

The above 22 bands will be moving onto Semi Finals! Congratulations! Looking at the 12th/13th spot (the Finals divide), we can see a 3 tenth gap. While that isn't very much, I believe W.C. Latin, the current 12th place, will take 12th in Semis, giving them that last Finals spot. As for the Winner tomorrow, expect much the same as today. The Marchers have clearly taken the lead. Throughout the Top 5, we can see gaps in every rank. THis suggests there will be very little excitement over the course of this week.

The above 35 are moving to Semis. Congrats! 10th through 14th place are separated by less than a point. Anything could happen tomorrow. No time to rest now Div 2 bands, because tomorrow should be intense. As with Division 1, Division 2 has many gaps in between ranks for the Top 5. I wouldn't expect to see changes this week.



Division 3:
The Top 77 got into Semis! Excellent job, Division 3 bands! However, I don't have enough space for all 77 groups moving on. Here are the top 15:

Again, major gaps in the Top 5. WIthout a doubt, Sapphire will be in Division 1 next season, as they would be second place in Division 1 right now. The real excitement is the fight for Finals. 12th and 13th are separated by only 0.025. Either bands could take it. To make it even more exciting, 14th place is only 0.105 from 12th place, giving them a shot as well. With the range of 11th - 15th being half a point,this is another Division that will have an exciting SemiFinals performance.

We just barely made semis this season. Although, better than my drum corps. They missed semis by less than a point. Going up to division one, and then not being able to get on for a week kinda screwed us over this season. Hopefully next season will be better.
