Hi all! I want to present an opportunity for us to support FMA and have some fun socially. I’m bringing back the parade competition to kick off finals week!!!! The winner of the competition will receive a real prize! There’s also a prize for Best Song (chosen by me). I’ve seen many of you express interest in this—so here it goes! I’m hoping for a big turnout!

If you want to participate, please respond to me privately by Saturday 4/26 by 11:59 PM (on FMA or Discord) and submit the following:

Helpful Note: DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME I WILL WEIGH GE HIGHER! The fun, surprising (and difficult) part is not knowing how I’ll weigh the captions. ;)

The main prize will be decided mathematically, but the “Best Song” prize will be chosen by me.

The winner of the parade competition will receive a $10 Pack under the “Support FMA” tab.

The winner of Best Song will receive a $5 Pack.

Small Caveat:

In order to make sure the prize money goes toward supporting FMA, participants must be willing to provide a temporary password for me to access their account and make the purchase. You must then change your password after the transaction. I understand this requires a fair bit of trust. I’m open to other suggestions if anyone has any! (However, I’m 43 and still old school—I don’t Venmo or anything like that.) The password will only be used for me to log in, make the purchase, and then log out. I encourage everyone to change your password immediately afterward.

Also, I know some accounts are old, and people may not remember the email they used. Winners may choose to:

- Use an account they have full access to (e.g., they can change the password),

- Give the prize to a fellow player, or

- Decline the prize, in which case I’ll make the purchase on my own account.

Winners will be decided on finals night!
