This is the NEW official thread for Masters of FMA hosted by rotating corps on Monday of finals week. In order to participate you have to be a previous medal winner (in any Division). Qualified applications are accepted first. After 5 days of accepting medal winners, finalists can then be accepted. non-finalists will not be accepted regardless of how many spots remain.


Hosting rules:

* director must be in good standing and be able to host a minimum 20 group event
* good standing includes not running more than 2 drum corps, marching band, color guard, and Percussion units in any given season
* FMA Masters will take place Monday of Finals week
* Until Thursday of pre-season week, only medalists (Gold, Silver, Bronze) from previous finals (including all 3 divisions) will be accepted.
* After Thursday, the host may start accepting previous seasons finalists- non-finalists will not be accepted, even to fill spots.

I would also like to say that ZPHSE87 has said that he was going to host either S128 or S129 if I remember correctly, he can correct me if I’m wrong.

i had said that but since my events have not gotten much interest from ensembles i dont think i will be able to host next season so crosscut can take my spot and alxmm98 can do the next season since my funding has gotten so low.

I’ll just put this out there again, I’m willing and able to host but it needs to be somebody else if at all possible. I don’t need money anymore, so it should go to someone who does. But as long as I know I’m needed before I make my own events I’m willing to step in if necessary. I won’t be playing for a while starting in Season 130 so I won’t be putting up my shows until I see gaps in the schedule.

I think you should do it corndog. I wish I wouldve known before I made my drum corps event. I definitely want to host next season. At this point we need the event up because if we wait any longer it will be too late

Bad phrasing on my part - my events are already up for this season. But my offer will stand for any other future season. I’ll hold off on scheduling my events until I see Masters go up, just in case we need someone to host.

Damn...you scheduled masters on FMA Indianapolis day. Noone is going to apply because most groups are already booked.

This season is off to a rough start with bugs. For some reason Championship week is showing event full for events that have one group in them.

I’m putting in a bid to host masters in one of these seasons: 133-136.
I’m doing this so far out because I don’t know how life’s course will go, but this is next availability for the Blue Italians Org. to host Masters. I can also host twice in this period if needed.
