Division I Highlights:

Gulf Knights made a triumphant return to Division I, captivating the audience with their original show “Drum Corps.” Featuring a dynamic score composed by Executive Director Nathan Picard, the Knights dominated the field with a top score of 74.705. Their strengths were clear in Winds (7.465) and Visual General Effect (14.91), setting a high bar for the season. K.K.D.C. returned from a two-season hiatus with “I,” a deeply personal and introspective show. DETROIT, Mich.— The Drum Corps Cooperative league’s Season 127 continued with the highly anticipated DCCO Detroit Regional, held in the heart of the Motor City. The competition saw stunning performances from seasoned contenders and impressive debuts from newly founded corps, all against the vibrant backdrop of Detroit’s historic venue.

Division I Highlights:

Gulf Knights continued their reign at the top with an outstanding performance of “Drum Corps,” earning a dominant 79.370. Their finely tuned execution in Music Ensemble (8.015) and General Effect (15.860 Music and Visual) set them apart. The Knights’ blend of power and precision in Winds (7.915) and Percussion (7.910) ensured they remained the team to beat this season.

K.K.D.C. secured second place with a strong score of 70.205, showing significant improvement in Winds (7.175) and Music General Effect (14.125). Their show “I” continues to evolve, demonstrating their commitment to refining their performance.
