For Your Consideration:
Synecdoche Drum Corps is proud to present - No Weapons Shall Prosper!
Marrying the contrasting themes of faith and violence, this show harnesses the dark nature of music referencing the darkness of Barber, Kander, The Beatles, and Göransson.
Glimmers of hope and light are articulated by music with religious themes. Bernstein's tongue-in-cheek Mass pokes through as the show pummels to its decisive conclusion.
Will these themes coexist, or will one eventually outwit the other?

Thank you for your consideration and for your votes for Division I Drum Corps FMA Fan Favorite.

Infinity's Show Announcement prior to the start of the season:

Infinity is thrilled to unveil their Season 124 program, "LINK: A Hero's Purpose," marking the climactic conclusion to their critically acclaimed trilogy inspired by The Legend of Zelda series. This season, Infinity will delve into the heart of the beloved franchise by exploring the journey of its central character, Link, the courageous hero destined to battle the forces of evil and protect the land of Hyrule.

The anticipation for this final chapter has been immense, leading to record numbers of auditions as musicians and performers across the country vied for a chance to be part of this historic production. It wasn't a secret that the concluding show would focus on Link, the hero of The Legend of Zelda. The excitement among fans and aspiring members was palpable. Everyone knew that Infinity would pull out all the stops for this finale, creating a once-in-a-lifetime performance experience.

Following the success of the past two seasons, Infinity’s trilogy has captivated audiences with its deep exploration of iconic characters from the legendary video game series. Season 122’s "Ganondorf" offered a fresh perspective on the notorious villain, providing insights into his motives and the ancient curse that shaped his dark destiny. In Season 123, "Princess of Destiny" brought the character of Zelda to the forefront, illuminating her dual identity and pivotal role in the ongoing battle between good and evil. It should be noted that Season 123 was also voted FMA fan favorite.

Now, in "LINK: A Hero's Purpose," Infinity shifts the spotlight to the hero himself, Link. This program promises to capture the essence of Link’s unwavering courage, his connection to the land of Hyrule, and the monumental challenges he faces in his quest to defeat Ganon and save the world. The show will chronicle Link’s journey, from his humble beginnings to an epic final showdown.

Repertoire for "LINK: A Hero's Purpose":

Title Theme (Ocarina of Time) - Koji Kondo
Battle and Boss Battle (Ocarina of Time) - Koji Kondo
Kokiri Forest - Koji Kondo
Dark World (A Link to the Past) - Koji Kondo
Enter Ganondorf - Koji Kondo
Escape from Ganon's Castle - Koji Kondo
The Legend of Zelda Main Theme - Koji Kondo

Drawing from the rich musical legacy of The Legend of Zelda series, composed by the legendary Koji Kondo, Infinity will bring these iconic themes to life on the field. The program’s music selection reflects the pivotal moments in Link’s journey, blending the nostalgia of classic tunes with the intensity of battle sequences and the emotional depth of Link’s struggles.

Director Samuel Reynolds expressed his excitement about the upcoming season: "We’ve spent the last two seasons exploring the intricate dynamics of Hyrule’s most iconic characters, and now, we’re bringing it all together by focusing on the hero who unites them all. 'LINK: A Hero’s Purpose' is not just the conclusion of our trilogy; it’s a tribute to the timeless story of courage, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of heroism."

Infinity’s trilogy has not only been a musical journey but a narrative one as well, weaving together the stories of Ganondorf, Zelda, and now Link, to create a cohesive and compelling arc. The final installment, "LINK: A Hero’s Purpose," promises to be a fitting and powerful conclusion to this epic saga, leaving audiences with a profound understanding of the characters and the world of The Legend of Zelda.
