The classic Druids Drum & Bugle Corps from Dublin, Ireland began it's every-day rehearsals earlier this week. This will be the first time the corps has intended to fully compete a season since their incredibly successful FMB Season 9 Finals competition. Their first performance will be earlier this week, preceding a long plane ride from the Isle to the States.
Before everyone got fully settled in Sunday, we were able to catch a short interview with Drum Major David O'Connor.
"It's been a while," David says, giving a sideways glance to the pictures and trophies hanging on the wall beside him from years past, "but I have no doubt that the Druids will carry the same pride they always have. We were known for our dark brass sound, and will continue to be known for our excellence on the field."
The Druid's first planned show will be at the Masters of Music show on August 21st.
