Facilities vary from year to year but are always vetted for quality, ensuring a high standard for both the participating units and audience. Judges are flown in from around the world to ensure excellent quality adjudication and comments. Hotel rooms in one of the coastal resorts are provided to judges, and directors and their ensembles are offered housing in all Back Bay region schools and community centers. Directors, staff, and judges are provided a fully-stocked hospitality room, including catering from local vendors, desserts, snacks, soft drinks, and water. The audience and unit members may also partake in concessions served by volunteers and local vendors throughout the event.
