Hey there everybody! It is Bird here and I just wanted to let you know some happenings in both GSPA and APA.

GSPA

The Golden Shock Guard will now be going by the acronym G. S. G. Has to accurately reflect the slow transition away from the Golden Shock name until a new organization name can be chosen. Last season, the indoor drumline subsidiary of Golden Shock did the same thing and we have seen great results.

The Golden Shock MARCHING Band will now be known as Bronze Elektrik, further displaying and keeping suit with the slow transition away from the current organization name. We know that Bronze Elektrik will continue to absolutely wow the audience and dominate the competition and this is the first step towards a rebuild of the GSPA.

For right now, Golden Shock DBC will be staying around unchanged for one more season until season 115.

APA

APA will be changing the hometown of origin from Anchorage, Alaska to Seward, Alaska. This while it is a small change, was one that was sought to be needed

It has become obvious that there are certain groups who are blatantly copying the naming of groups, and such, I have reached out and asked for some variation in the names of groups of the other competitors. We know at APA that competition is what leads to better successes but with such blatant correlation, there has to be a change.
