Just wanted to give a general update on the regiment, and announce our participation in the FMA World Tour!

Lonestar Regiment Co Director Kate Yee is now returning to her full capacity running the drum line and co-running the Drum Corps, we are excited to have her back in her full capacity!

As mentioned previously the Lonestar Regiment is participating in the season 111 FMA World Tour with a multitude of other corps! Lonestars event will be held in Weldiya Ethiopia in the Woldiya stadium! The event will be a Drum corps event, and there will be 15 slots for corps around the world to come perform for an international audience!

While this is currently a one off in the whole of the FMA community, Lonestars board of directors is currently looking into expanding this into a seasonal event for the corps, nothing is confirmed as of yet, and more info on the subject will come out after season 111.

Regarding the Lonestar Regiments previous contest the “Lonestar Classic Marching Festival,” this event will be hosted by our very own Lonestar Symphony Marching band during S111, it will be the usual 5 slot contest. This event will change to the marching band circuit however.

We hope that everyone is looking forward towards S111 as much as we are! Thank you all for going the distance with us this coming season!
