This is my first season on FMA. I love the horror genre, especially the psychological and surreal subgenres, so I knew that's what I wanted my big fake-DCI debut to be about. I also finished Stranger Things 4 Part 1 a few days before signing up, and it was on my mind. Hence I decided to open my show with two 80s songs. From there I basically scanned my massive Liked Songs list on Spotify for songs referencing insanity, drug abuse, or songs with just plain weird lyrics. The name "The World Inside My Mind" was also a product of some Stranger Things bingewatching too.

How did you come up with your show's theme?

I will be honest here. I do 50/50 on custom shows. Sometimes I will do shows that already exist, and then other times will create them. This is just a game so in my opinion, I don't think it matters tooo much on the show name and the movements/repertoire.

I totally get that. It doesn't really matter within the context of the game. I'm just one of those people who listens to a song and is like "omg a marching band should do this!!!!!1!11!!11!!" I like the idea of replicating an IRL show too. One season I want to do a "best of" show with parts of some of my favorite DCI shows.

Sometimes I'll hear a piece of music that I think will sound cool and then develop a show around it, or sometimes I'll have a show idea and look for pieces that fit with it.

All of my show ideas are in my head with what they're about, but I'm too lazy to write them out when I make them so I just post the title and the pieces. (Except Season 100... that was a meme)

I usually like to come up with my Drum Corps shows, but i'm 50/50 on the band, sometimes I do sometimes I don't. And for the most part, my Drum Corps shows are now completely custom based on what I'm hyper fixated on at the moment, but that's just me lolol
