Due to the immense success of the Pride of East Marching Band and Drumline, the local community has asked for a drum corps to be implemented to use the talents of the local region on a more grand scale. It is a pleasure of mine to announce the creation of the Southern Pride Drum and Bugle Corps, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, to the FMA circuit. The Corps will be joining the Southeastern Drum Corps Alliance in order to spread the Southeast's influence in the activity as well as unify with other Corps from the region. The first few weeks of our creation will be used for fundraising and advertising, and the corps targets a Season 104-105 entry into the Drum Corps Circuit. Happy Marching Everyone!
