Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to historic Hudson Lake, Indiana and the Bourissa Highlands for the 1st Annual HIGHLAND MUSIC GAMES! Founded for Season 64, New Carlisle Marching Arts led the crusades to bring the marching arts to Northern Indiana. Unfortunately, hard economic times hit the company due to a drop in enrollment, increased housing costs, and a lack of support by town trustees. The small startup Hudson Hills Marching Academy bought out NCMA and moved to the highlands north of Hudson Lake. Here we welcome performing troops of all kinds to come and compete at this, the first Highland Music Games! Fun and entertainment abounds especially on this ST. PADRAIG’S DAY WEEKEND!!!! We have a Highland Games Festival goin on during people’s free times including: Caber Toss, Bale Throw, Hammer Throw, Step Dancing, and Highland Wrestling! Stay after for fireworks and bagpipes!
