Excitement is growing in the SMA community as finals approach during the organizations most successful season yet.

This season was the first in Div II for most of our groups, so expectations were low going into this season.

However, all groups exceeded expectations. Canada Corps, while out of contention to medal, will continue to rehearse hard this week and try to improve their placement.

The Calgary Stetson Showband is currently 4th, within 1 point of medalling.

The most exciting placements are Maple Leaf Percussion and Alberta X Winterguard, who are both less than 1 point from placing first in their division.

Everyone is extremely excited to see their labours and efforts pay off, but the road is over yet. Extensive rehearsals will continue throughout this week.
