The Board of Directors of The Cadets of Hennepin County Performing Arts, Inc. have announced today that the drum and bugle corps, along with its dormant indoor drumline and indoor color guard programs will be relocating to Columbus, Ohio, for Season 73 and beyond.

Reasons cited for the relocation include the executive director's recent relocation to Columbus, along with the potential for stronger financial viability and recruitment opportunities in Ohio's state capital.

Relocation will mean that the organization's name, along with the names of its ensembles will change. Possibilities of new names are being investigated, but the Board confirmed that the new organization title will be different from the Cadets name which has been used since the early days of the organization.

Audition details for the organization's ensembles for the upcoming season will be forthcoming.
