We are excited to be announcing our show titles for THREE defending world champions and the ever strong Knight Guard for season 69!

Nemesis moves from a very light and fun show to a much more dark feel while remaining within our ballet themes for the year. This season Nemesis will bring Vampires to the field in our production The Shadow's Bride featuring the music of Peter Gundry. The show will center around Isabelle, a simple and beautiful maiden who gets lured into the dark shadows by Rau, our attractive and alluring agent of evil. Dance of the Damned/ The Vampire Masquerade will be a grand ballroom setting where our two soon to be lovers meet. The show will be filled with large Gothic scenes and costuming not only in the guard but in the corps itself. I Bleed For You will be the love scene portion where Rau will struggle with his lust for blood and his desire for love with Isabelle. Let the Monster Rise (the only piece not by Gundry) will be where Rau can no longer control his lust for the flesh as he takes the maiden. Forever and Never Isabelle will give into her fear of what she is leaving and accept the fate of who she is becoming. The Mosters Within will touch upon the struggle we all have determining what parts of us are good and what parts of us are evil as mans state truly is a dichotomy. The Rise of the Fallen and Death Will Fear Us sees the rise of Isabelle's former suitor Razbunare as he drives a stake through Rau heart and sets Isabelle free in death leaving us torn between love and faith. we expect the brass and percussion will support the show in truly dramatic fashion while the guard truly tells us an amazing and heartbreaking story.

Marching Knights go for a record breaking SIXTH in a row title with HMS Penzance?

The title and show developed from staff members fighting out which Gilbert and Sullivan show they wanted to present on the field. for years two sides of battled to get their show on the field when suddenly we said, lets MASH EM UP! The show will certainly bring several G&S classics along with comedy styling while also having a grand sound as shown right off in Loudly Let the Trumpets Bray. Next comes a battle of who is the bravest, loudest most ridiculous commander of our show. Represented by our 3 drum majors who will take time out to do some solos for us and out do one another, we eventually realize the 3 buffoons left no one RUNNING the show while they brag about how good they are at doing it!! THEIR IS NO DRUM MAJOR and the show gets a little out of control while the audience is sure to have great fun! We start to pull things together a bit in Poor Wondering One where for a minute everyone seems a little confused as Isabelle from the Shadow's Bride (Nemsis) wonders into the show. Being one of our favorite songs of Gilbert and Sullivan we couldn't help add When the Foreman Bares his Steel as they offer to go off with Isabelle to fight off Rau. Alas true to fashion, they WONT GO! and she is left heading off again on her own. To tie up the whole sorted mess and make us forget that nothing seemed to work out in the end, we finish our show with Never Mind the Why and Wherefore. While we know a SIXTH title in a row isnt exactly what your average fan will be screaming for, we hope to win many fans over with pure fun and entertainment this season--never mind the trophies!

The Guard and Percussion will be doing a JOINT show that can be done individually but whose layers can be placed over the top of each other for one production as well that will be performed at special events through the season. The show itself will focus on life at the Zoo after all visitors have left for the day. The guard will have wild and crazy costumes representing animals while the percussion will use many varied instruments to do the same. We are excited to be able to bring the layered shows to a court near you!
