Since I mentioned soccer in another thread it reminded me of the upcoming World Cup in Russia. With my favorite national team out of the picture (Netherlands) and USA not going to the world cup as well who are you guys gonna root for?

The USA played terribly in the qualifying rounds and did not qualify for the Cup.

Yeah I don't like soccer enough to watch if the USA isn't even playing. I might put some games on in the background, but I can't get interested in something like Romania vs. Turkmenistan.

Same here. Not gonna watch the World Cup this time, maybe next time they'll be back

I might watch the finals match but other than that nah.

Who I want to win, I'm torn between Brazil or Argentina, as far as cheering on the West Hemisphere here, even though Germany may take it again,

The Prelim Games I do wanna catch though: Mexico v Germany, Portugal V Spain, and Uruguay v Russia, even though Uruguay and Germany may win those games, (maybe), I think the Portugal and Spain may be an interesting one to watch.

I'm definitely catching most of the games! Yeah I have a gut feeling that Germany are able to pull off a repeat. Will be cheering for the La Roja this time round cos David De Gea <3
