The top 3 are neck-and-neck for that highly coveted gold-medaling spot. Drumming Drummers are about half a point behind first, but it's too far at this point and they probably won't win. The Drummer's Alliance has fifth place secured with fourth three points higher and sixth two points lower. Mercury and SoW Sound Power are quite close with just .075 between them. Positions 8-12 seem secure with close to half a point separating each one. Rhythm Hex has the best chance of these five of jumping a place, but it still won't be easy.

Line of Distinction has pretty much claimed tomorrow's gold already, and Thunder and Red Frogs are very much safe in their medaling positions. Phantom of Carolina Drumline and Nova Drumline are in a dead heat for fourth as only .205 separates them. Styx gets the number six spot secure (Maybe they did that for the rhyme? styx - six?). Metro Alliance and BEECHES DRUM LINE are practically tied with .045 between them. Golden Sticks and Synechdoche Mystique seem secure in their places and the Gangbangers and Darklaw Sound are in contention for eleventh.

Talk about point spreads! Thunder dominates by SIX points over second while second place is ahead of twelfth by about only FOUR points. Tap Dance seems safe in second with Battered Souls and Pulse duking it out for third. Fifth through eighth are in the 60 range, with Wildcat Indoor and Sticks & Stones are merely .02 apart. Ninth through eleventh are also tight with The Beatdowns and Dynasty separated by just 1/25 fo a point. The mad Hatters take the last qualifying spot for finals.
