Well you have to remember I'm from England, so we call people from across the pond Yanks.

I'm trying to bring back a few as well as the elite to "start over" next season to help reset the issues we are seeing currently. Could mean a domination of division III next season, but at least I aND II will be normalized.

I'm just messing around. And I love that phrase for whatever reason "across the pond."

It's fun to say! I hear it in history class and it's just ironic and makes me laugh a little. But it's true too.

Oh well, to be clear, I was never actually any good at all of this. My old groups were:

D&BC: North East Marching Storm (high finish of 6th in the old FMA)
Drum Line: Empire State Drum Connection (can't find a single stat for them)
Guard: Empire State Flats (Which I think is a typo of flags...)
Marching Band: Empire State Vanguard ("10 time finalist in the old FMA with an all time high finish of 5th, in seasons 4, 14, and 15" from my old bio, so I'm assuming they were my strongest group).

Also used to be involved in the DCPI summer fantasy competitions and was on Micromarching for ages.

A little slow on this, but 'across the pond' makes me think of the New Zealand term 'across the ditch' when referring to Australia on the other side of the Tasman Sea.

That's still pretty cool!!

Well I'm not necessarily all that much into the words that Yanks say. I just laugh at how they talk.

Oh I know. I did five years of marching band at Lawrence Central, and met a few people from Broken Arrow at Nationals. Quite hilarious!

Okay, that works. My mom went to BA and says it's full of country kids. But I'm not sure about the band, I'll have to ask my director about that one. (He went to BA in like 1492.)

I'm excited for this new season! I'm hoping to build off of my run to the top of Division 2 and win it this season if I'm kept in D2! Does anyone else have any expectations for their upcoming season?

(Those of you reading from other leagues may state yours too!)

At least get back to the semis. I'm happy with having made the semis in the first season, but I can't imagine reaching the finals for a couple more seasons. So foundation building, consistent semis appearances, staff improvements, that sort of thing.
