Sorry about being so inactive in this forum last season, I was rather busy and not too focused on FMA. That's all done now though, so I'll have a lot of time this season, and hopefully will make this season great!

Oh wow, this place has been EMPTY. Granted I'm not doing much, but I've had an extremely busy summer so sorry for letting you guys down...

It's everyone pretty much....at least the league itself is active. Been hoping to get people back in the forums for a while now but nothing seems to work

I'm leaving on Friday for a Boy Scout trek to Philmont that lasts 7-8 days!

summers are tough to be super active--some of my worst seasons are in summer lol

So true... It's because everyone is doing things and going places in the heat of the year, which honestly is weird because it would feel better to do extra stuff like vacations in the spring or fall when it's prettier or cooler...

Other than drum corps or family visiting (which is what keeps me busy since I live in vacationland), I do exactly that with my big vacations. You are right, spring/fall are prettier, more pleasing temperature wise and often consider "off season" cost wise!

For me personally, I can be active during the summer, but the difficulty lies in keeping consistent with my rehearsals, because of a free sleep schedule, it's harder to adhere to a set rehearsal time pattern, for me at least

My summers change each year, but most consist of 1-3 weeks of Boy Scout camp, maybe a church camp, 3 weeks of band camp, and doing stuff around Oklahoma with the family. The scout camp part is why I was absent last week. Lol

I move into college in less than 4 weeks now, so I'm basically enjoying the end of my summer

If anyone has an idea for the tour next season, lemme know! I was thinking a tour of Canada, but if anyone has any other ideas feel free to share! I want to start voting next season, maybe starting this process a little earlier. I wanna get this forum active again!

Since the season is active along the Olympics, we could do locations of famous landmarks around Rio or locations of the past summer Olympics. Just an idea.

Oh that's true! And the beginning of the season is right near the beginning of the Olympics. I really like that, I'll definitely think about it!

I am glad to have been invited to this league because I was just beginning and needed a little bit of a boost seeing as I came in a tad late in the season.

My percussion group is hosting a show on the 23rd, I would love having some groups from this league at the show for representation
