In an epic round-4 finish, Bluecoats 2016 barely came out on top over the Cavaliers 2010. Both Coats and Cavies advance to finals.

cool.. i didn't see those coats and cavies shows so close but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. no bias.. i think that bluecoats show is better designed and executed and more interesting..

Cavies were piss clean visually. Interesting to see Cavies 2010 beat BD 2010

Also 4 corps within .1, this next round of judging is gonna be interesting. I know for sure I'm gonna have to have much higher standards. 10 corps, DCA finals style!

I enjoyed Cavies 2010 more than bluecoats 2015 but I'm not surprised bluecoats won in GE.

Ultimately I think a lot of captions are gonna be a little biased towards more recent groups, because difficulty as well as achievement always seems to go up every year. 5 years still makes a difference in terms of show design IMO

I'm judging right now, and I already know that with 10 corps, some of my scores are pretty low. I'm trying to differentiate a lot more, and it's gonna take a lot more to get into the 19 range for me

I'm on guard #5. My scores range from 19-19.8 :) These guards are fantastic so far. I began to record my comments, but I noticed that documenting my comments was a distraction and slowed me down - because I had much to say. I will try to summarize my scores in addition to submitting my score sheet.

If you need a vis prof, I wouldn't mind

My range is really wide with one corps left, 17.5 to 19.9.
