Wasn't surprised Boston got best GE, that show still gives me goosebumps. I would like to take Music Ensemble or Percussion for next round please.

Hey all, this is the last round before our finals match up!

I'd also like to mention that this round is the last time that you will get to choose your own captions.
In a surprise season-finale twist, I will assign what caption you judge for finals ;-) I will assign the captions based on what you like to judge and how well I think you judge them - obviously if you're not a guard judge, I won't assign you guard, etc. For Round 4, choose what you want to judge based on what is left.

In Round 4, we will be judging, Bluecoats 2015, Cavaliers 2010, The Academy 2016, and Mandarins 2017.

I should word that differently. The captions will be assigned based on what you like to judge and how comfortable you are with judging it.. Spots are limited - so I will try my best to assign you the most suitable caption.

I'm just now realizing how much the small subtle things make a huge difference, this is the first time I've judged brass since I've been in college and marched a season of corps, and I'm realizing so much more musical things that aren't smack you in the face obvious

When we do judging for finals, could we submit comments on the shows we're judging if we want and have them with the final scores? I think it would be a cool thing, sort of like a written judges tape type thing?

What a lineup, four really great shows, going to be a hard one to judge, and I do like the idea of adding comments. While it is extra work that could be argued that it isn't necessary, it'll add a little realism when we judge, so we have to think extra hard on what we say about the shows and how it affects our scoring.

Absolutely. I'd like to "hear" what you think about the shows. Would you care if I made your judging comments public?

Yeah that's almost what I was suggesting. I always end up having a lot of comments that factor into the score, like a particular section that wasn't really clean or some subtle performer challenges that a casual listener might realize, and it would be nice to voice that
