I know there are different circumstances that call for this but what exactly qualifies a group to move from one division to another? I was just curious. Thank you. ^_^

I haven't been in the game for way too long, but my guess is that level, off season activity, and past performance impact division placement the most. I've found that level 20 is the rough cutoff for D3 to D2 in most cases. Then level 50 is the rough cutoff for D2 to D1. If you spend a lot of time working with your group during the off week, then it may bump you up if your level is close. Also, if you dominate a division one season, then you will probably be moved up the next. What it boils down to is the game places you in the division you can fairly contend in.

And I'm pretty sure the top 9 from the season prior get moved up a division as well

It is all based on influence, staff, and rehearsal time during preseason. :) There is also something about which way the wind is blowing at the time in the game explanation lol
