Season 43 is just about to begin, and the 'Siren groups' are once again preparing for a new wave of competitions and show hosting. The groups have already planned their shows and events, and await what is undoubtedly going to be another great season! Their announcements are as follows;

Siren Regiment will be taking on a mysterious show by the name of "The Fortune Teller", turning the field into a zone of play for the occult. From giant tarot card props to a gleaming crystal ball at the center of the field, this show is sure to be the one the audience will be talking about all night! Musical selections include “Ancient Visions” by Roland Barrett and "Arabesque" by Samuel R. Hazo (with more repertoire to be revealed following the start of season 43). Siren Regiment can gaze into their future, and already see another wonderful season ahead of them.

La Mer indoor percussion will be facing season 43 with an ancient-Greek styled show by the name of "GOLD!" inspired by the legend of King Midas. This show will give a single performer the 'Midas touch', slowly turning the floor's appearance from dull bronze to shimmering gold throughout the performance! Much like their performance, La Mer hopes for a golden season!

Siren Songs marching band will be putting on a show by the name of "All Things Paper-Thin and Frail", inspired by the book "Paper Towns" by John Green. This show will change the band into a set made completely out of paper, with props made to look like paper cut-out trees, houses, and even roads scattered across the field. The show looks into our society and morals, challenging us to be more than 'paper-thin and frail'. Siren Songs hopes that this performance will be one for the books!

Vortex will be performing their show "The Enchanted Orchard" in season 43, using the compositions "Illyrian Aire" and "Sebastian & Antonio" by artist 'Hem'. This show will effectively turn the floor into a luminous garden filled with blooming flowers and trees everywhere. The guard members will play the part of statues in this garden that slowly begin to come to life as the magic returns. Vortex hopes to put on performances sure to leave the audience charmed this next season!

In regard to the competition schedule, Siren Songs, La Mer, and Siren Regiment will all once again be hosting their seasonal "Siren Songs" competition in Season 43- now at even even bigger venue than before! Any drumline, marching band and drum corps groups are welcome to apply to each and we look forward to having you at our events!

In addition to that, Vortex will once again be hosting their "Vortex Open". All color guard groups are welcome to apply, and there's sure to be an amazing variety of groups as always.
