Hi guys and gals, there will be some new things happening very soon. For instance, on our championship night, I will be giving a State of the League address. In that, I'll be discussing current issues, our Pearl Hall of Fame, the Pearl Cup, and announce our end of season awards. In addition, the board of directors and I will be keeping our eyes open for two more prospective board members. I know that our championships is 3 weeks away, but I'm so excited and anxious about these changes. I just want you to know that the board of directors has been working hard to keep this league interesting.

We encourage everyone to attend the State of the League address on championship night at 8:00 pm eastern time. It is a time for both BoD members and league members to speak up and discuss league matters. Hope everyone enjoys it, and if you have any ideas or suggestions for us on championship night, please feel free to share it

Keep on pushing guys! We have two D1 lines in the top 20. The point spread is not that much and if we get lucky, we will have two lines in the top 12! Keep rehearsing guys! Yesss...as of now, PEARL has members in the top 12 of every division. Shoutout to The Drum Circlers, who have jumped from 7th to 2nd in D2, and to the Illuminati Drumline, who is still very much in 1st for D3. (Did You Know?) Illuminati Drumline would still be 6th in D2 with their top score this season. Amazing!

Easternwood had 1st for a while during the week, but Pandora grabbed it back with a 2nd place finish at the FotA Showcase and a gold at La Carrera Alredador del Sol.

For the first time this season, PEARL has drumlines in the D1 top 12! Both Beatboxers and Cymbalism jumped about 4.5 points over the week as they bust into finals spots. Flamtastic is 17th and about .5 points out of 12th.

Division 2 Top 12
-The Drum Circlers (#1)
-The Panther Pride Drumline (#10)
The Drum Circlers hopped from 7th to 1st over a one week span and have become the top dog of the D2 drumlines! The Panther Pride Drumline moved into a more comfortable 10th place from 11th. Pandora had no change in score over the week, causing them to skid from 14th to 17th. However, they are still within 3 points of the coveted 12th spot.

Division 3 Top 12
-Illuminati Drumline (#1)
Illuminati Drumline is still dominating the D3 drumline standings, holding a 9 point lead over 2nd place. They have not lost yet this season, and it doesn't look like they will! Easternwood is 18th, but they are only .9 points out of 12th in what is a tight race in D3.

PEARL Cup Deadline: The last day of events that will count towards the PEARL Cup is Monday the 9th, so that final standings can be announced Tuesday the 10th at the State of League Address.
