Congratulations to the Beatboxers for winning the first ever PEARL event! Also a big congrats to Cymbalism and Flamtastic for placing a close second and third. And a big thanks to all that participated!

Purple Pounders, which is part of my B account, has joined PEARL

PEARL, in an effort to get our tenure as a dominating drumline league on FMA, is adding some rarely-seen features to the season.
The PEARL Cup is a regular-season points system that will reward our drumlines for participating in PEARL-sanctioned events and excelling in non-PEARL events. For PEARL events, the following points will be rewarded for each division:
8 for 1st
7 for 2nd
6 for 3rd
4 for 4th
3 for 5th
2 for 6th
1 for 7th and beyond
Also, the drumline with the highest overall score in the event earns a 2 point bonus. The leaders for each category in the division earn 1 point for each category led.
For non-PEARL events, winning your division earns 5 points, placing second gets 4 points, and placing third gets 3 points. No bonuses are available for non-PEARL events. I will post PEARL Cup Standings after every Saturday event. The PEARL Cup Champion will be announced right before the PEARL Championship.
