3rd place in CLASS KICKOFF's D2, with the highest score for winds. It's always been my group's specialty and I quite frankly do not ever want to surrender it if and only if I can't catch up with all the other captions lol

Millersville University! Its not the most prestigious school out there, but they have a really good program and the environment is perfect for me!

Yeah, they're really well known for education. I don't know about the rest of the university, but the school of music uses a method with the Kodály method, developed by the professors, it's cool! I like the campus too!

I live with OU within walking distance, so ill probably go there to make movig easy. So if anyone here is going or wants to go to OU, we will have to say hi. Lol

It puts hand signals with solfege, its a singing/theory thing. Its weird because they teach theory through singing before getting to written theory courses

I think I'll stick to theory through 4-mallet marimba. Lol

I really hope I get up to D1 next year, I feel like there's more D2 groups out there that deserve a shot. I'm definitely not gonna stop though, I'm racing my own scores right now, I wanna hit about 93

With where I am sitting now, would the high 80s be a ludicrous goal for my own group to achieve by the end of the season?

That might be a tad high considering where you're sitting, but I mean if you have good rehearsal you could probably get to like the 85-87 range

I would agree with CJ...having moved up from Div III to II this season, I am hoping to at least beat my score from last season and add some--I hit 85.7 so really 86-87 is my goal and hopefully top 12 (hey it would have been last season LOL). Seeing how you are right about where I am, I think you can do the same if you go all out! I have to say, this dropping back and starting over with all the issues that happen when you groups max out have been worth it. Not that I was winning every season or anything, far from it, but its been fun mixing up who my competition is and now attacking Division II (in a fair way not because my group is incorrectly dropped back lol)! I was thrilled to win my first season in Div III, but I will be just as thrilled to make top 12 of Division II with such a great group of corps! Than maybe go for that title next season!
