So this really is the first time! History in the making.

A little embarrassed that I forgot the history of Black Mambas, as I remember them very clearly. I didn't go back this far because I thought I had found something in Season 22 and I only needed one season, but I think Season 11 is actually an example of CLASS sweeping all the Gold Medals. Nemesis won DI, Minneapolis Regiment won DII, and Sapphire Vanguard B won DIII (I had completely forgotten just how long ago the B account thing started).

Actually, Season 11 might be one of the most successful season in the history of CLASS. Here's what we did in FMA Finals that season.

That's right... Twelve of the fifteen groups to finish top five that season were from CLASS. Won 7/9 drum corps medals, swept the Gold Medals, and swept the DI Medals (not that that's unheard of for CLASS). And I didn't even include groups that I know for a fact were in CLASS at the time unless they finished top five. Didn't include groups that have since joined either. Just plain old domination.

That was an amazing season for sure!

CONGRATS CORPS IBEX ON YOUR FIRST WORLD TITLE! Platinum Regiment also grabs a second Division II Gold and Chicago Wind their first Gold! That's 1 2 and 3!

CLASS took the top 5 spots in Division I with Carolina Royals holding on to that upset for silver and Nemesis dropping to bronze! Lexington Legends took 4th and Cadets of Blue had a great season in 5th!

Santa Clara Vanguard grabbed silver in Division II

I was not expecting the Cadets of Blue to jump from 9th on Prelims to 5th on finals. Pretty amazing what some work can do.
