Hello, I'm somewhat new to FMA and I was wondering why I didn't receive a second place metal at a competition that I placed second in. I know that it's just a game and that's fine with me but I was just curious as to why when I placed second in a competition that was hosted by a clan that I'm in, i didn't receive the silver metal.

This question is quite common for people who are new to FMA. You don't receive trophies or medals for placing at league competitions :) You only receive them for placing at regular season events ( events that individual groups host) and circuit competitions at the end of the season.
