When you design the show it said that one will unlock higher challenge levels in subsequent seasons with better staff and influence. Yet, in the game guide it says that there are only eight challenge levels.

I'm confused.

The game guide says you are given 8 different options. As you increase your staff and levels, these 8 options will increase. For example, you start with 1 through 8. After a few seasons you might be able to choose from 4 to 11.
